From Portland to Eugene Oregon, Jazz Concerts are "big time" entertainment with some of the best jazz talent in the world. While Portland and Eugene are the big hot beds for jazz concerts, Western Oregon University delivers one of the best jazz performance studies programs in country and frequently offers high quality jazz concerts - for FREE.


An hour drive from Portland concerts, 80 minutes from Eugene and only 15 minutes from Salem concerts, the next time you want to find a hot rockin' jazz concert in Oregon, make the short drive to Monmouth, Oregon for a jazz concert certain to satisfy.


Each college quarter, the music department offers a wide range of concerts, from jazz to classical to singer songwriter - even Brazilian combos! There are more high quality concerts at WOU than just about anywhere else in Oregon and most are FREE concerts.


In addition to student jazz concerts, faculty members perform in numerous jazz bands that perform on campus. Examples include: Whirled News, Western Rebellion, Cathexis Orchestra, and more.


WOU enjoys a long list of featured guests artists that "stop by" while on world tours, such as the group OREGON, Sony Turner and more.


Most WOU Oregon Concerts are free to the public, while admission for featured guest artists is generally less than $10.
