Oregon Concerts

Oregon concerts are at the heart of the music scene from Portland to Medford, from La Grand to Astoria on the Oregon coast. Oregon is truly one of the most vibrant states in the country for plentiful and varied music concerts. Just a short drive from anywhere in the central Willamette Valley, Western Oregon University, concerts are plentiful and typically FREE to the public.

The music department at WOU is regarded as one of the best music colleges in the state, with private school instruction at a public university price. Because of the high quality of instruction and because all WOU music faculty are active performing musicians in their field, the concert quality is extremely high. For example in a given university quarter, you can enjoy jazz concerts, a classical piano recital, an authentic Oregon symphony orchestra, big band jazz, singer songwriter groups, choirs, vocal performances, more than a dozen specialty ensembles and touring professional concerts. Oregon concert goers are learning about the ‘best kept secret’ in the state. Join us at an upcoming concert!

Most WOU Concerts are free to the public, while admission for featured guest artists is generally less than $10.
