Music Department

The Western Oregon Music Department is an exceptionally high caliber Oregon music school. As a public Oregon music college, students enjoy the lowest tuition rates of any school in the state while garnering access to one of the best music programs in the country.

This Oregon music degree program excels in many areas, including jazz studies, vocal studies, collaborative piano, music history, and early music, in addition to staple studies such as choirs, wind ensemble and symphony.

This Oregon Music University offers the lowest student to faculty ratio of any public music school in the state and provides both undergraduate and graduate level instruction. For the undergraduate, students may receive a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts with a major in music. Students may also pursue the more comprehensive Bachelor of Music degree. At the graduate level, students specialize in their selected field to complete a Master of Music in Contemporary Music (MM).
